Abstract

This project will give the school age children at Discovery Preschool an educational and fun curriculum for the summer. It will be an extension of the education foundation they have completed at the end of their school year. It will be a way for the children how have educational and fun experiences during their summer at Discovery Clubhouse.

Goals

I have chosen as my edge program to design a School age curriculum so the children at Discovery preschool will have a fun educational summer.

Objectives

When I design a School age curriculum, I will learn about more educational resources and how to collaborate with other teachers. I know through my designing a school age curriculum, I can learn how to plan and organize educational activities. This project will familiarize me with Utah’s Core Educational Standards in my future job becoming an Elementary Education Teacher.

Deliverable

When I am completed with this project I will provide a completed educational summer lesson plan for the the school age program at Discovery Preschool. I will also summarize what new experiences I have learned through this experience and provide both of this in a power point form.
